Preview & Predictions for TNA Slammiversary 2025:
On tap for tonight's event, Trick Williams defends the TNA World Championship against both Joe Hendry and Mike Santana. For the longest time, I just assumed it was as simple as Hendry winning the title back. Now, though, I'm starting to suspect that they put Santana in here for a reason. I don't think Hendry is winning it back just yet. I think Santana is turning heel, effectively, and he'll start a program with Hendry out of this as the new champion. Maybe it's a shot in the dark pick, and maybe I should be instead thinking that DarkState will beat The System and help Trick Williams retain and finally fully announce that they're in an alliance with each other. That could be the course of action instead.
Masha Slamovich will put her TNA Knockouts World Championship on the line in a Winner Takes All match against NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne. Both belts being on the line makes for a VERY interesting situation, as this means either Slamovich will be the new head of the NXT women's division, or WWE's Jayne will be the double champion going between both shows as the new top woman of TNA, likely bringing Fatal Influence's Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx with her. Either scenario is up for grabs as far as I'm concerned, as I had thought this was easily going to be Jordynne Grace in this position, beating Jayne at Evolution and then beating Slamovich here. Clearly, I was wrong, and I don't have the best judgment of where they're going with this division. I'm assuming Jayne wins, as I don't think WWE would want to randomly give Slamovich their title, and TNA gains more out of having another WWE Superstar showing up on their programming particularly after Trick loses the title.
AJ Styles will make an appearance. I think he's wrestling Frankie Kazarian and beating him. That could be another wild card prediction.
Tessa Blanchard beats Indi Hartwell and Cedric Alexander beats Mustafa Ali, I think. Leon Slater beats Moose for the X Division Championship. Let's give The IInspiration the Knockouts tag titles and put the men's tag titles on The Rascalz.
