Bound For Glory is this Sunday.
This past Tuesday, NXT and TNA went head-to-head where the TNA World Champion failed to properly represent two brands. Trick Williams walked out on Ricky Saints to allow Team TNA to beat the NXT Champion decisively. However, Trick isn’t someone well liked in the TNA locker room and he’s one of the primary reasons that this whole feud started in the first place.
TNA needs a new leader and Mike Santana is looking to be that man on Sunday when he gets his rematch against Mr. Williams. However, before the big Bound For Glory match, Trick will open the show and there’s no promise that the show won’t get off to a chaotic start.
For the first time ever, Kelani Jordan will have her first title defense against Indi Hartwell this Sunday. Bound For Glory will be the biggest moment of Indi’s career thus far and the new TNA knockout plans to leave with the prestigious belt. But so is Kelani Jordan.
She benefitted from Ash By Elegance being sidelined and Kelani plans on being a champion for a very long time. Indi and Kelani will meet in the ring tonight for a contract signing, but given the history of this segment, will it be surprising if someone goes through a table?
Tonight should be the final chapter of the Joe Hendry/Erick Young saga as the former World Champions will meet in a No Disqualification match. The last time these two fought in the ring, Hendry got the better of the TNA veteran. However, Young’s obsession with cleansing wrestlers in TNA finds him on a mission to put Joe Hendry out of his misery. Can Eric Young finally get one over the former TNA World Champion? Or will Joe Hendry put an end to this blood feud once and for all?
Check out the advertised line-up for tonight’s show:
- Joe Hendry vs. Eric Young in a No DQ match
- Matt Cardona vs. Ryan Nemeth
- Mustafa Ali vs. JDC
