Victory Road is the final stop before Bound For Glory.
Two weeks ago, it was already confirmed that Masha Slamovich will get one more shot at the TNA Knockouts Championship at the Impact Plus exclusive event, but two more big matches were also confirmed.
On Thursday, Myron Reed, Trey Miguel, Zach Wentz, and Jake Something had a four way match to determine the next challenger for Leon Slater’s X-Division title. Not surprisingly, the match started off with The Rascalz trio working against Something, but it didn’t take long for the trio to start hitting one another for the win.
It was a fast paced four way bout that saw Reed hit a 450 Splash as Miguel and Wentz were outside fighting. He got the three count and earned himself an X-Division Championship match on September 26th.
This is Slater’s fourth title defense as he’s successfully beaten Cedric Alexander, Jason Hotch, Dante Leon, Man Like DeReiss, and Marcus Mathers. Slater has held the X-Division title for 57 days so far. This is Myron’s first crack at the X-Division title. He’s a former MLW World Middleweight Champion, so he’s no stranger to winning singles belts.
But that wasn’t the only match confirmed.
Moose doesn’t like Mustafa Ali.
It didn’t help that the Order 4 leader did everything in his power to try and cost Moose his match against AJ Francis on Thursday. But Moose will get his chance at revenge on Sept. 26. It’s been confirmed that the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion will go one-on-one against Ali at Victory Road.
Ali has had a problem with The System members in recent weeks, with the former WWE star putting JDC on the shelf following a brutal attack. Can Moose get the better of the powerful Order 4 leader?
