Monday night's RAW was headlined by Undisputed Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins taking on The Judgement Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio) in a six-man tag team match.
It was a solid main event, albeit one which it appears caused some issues backstage.
According to PWInsider, an argument broke out between the wrestlers who were involved in the bout once they returned to the Gorilla Position. It appears at least some of them felt the match was "clunky," primarily due to planned spots "literally changing at the last second."
It's unclear who changed those (Vince McMahon seems a safe bet) but it's being reported that there was one Superstar, in particular, who might have been the source of these problems.
Ultimately, the whole thing sounds like little more than a heated argument and we've since heard everyone walked away without the situation escalating any further. Still, there were those who remained unhappy over what went down in the ring.
Fightful Select has since claimed their sources looked to "[downplay] the situation," noting that Owens "left almost immediately" following the match because he had other places to be. Rollins is said to have been "cracked" pretty hard, though that wasn't an issue brought up in this altercation.
It doesn't sound like a backstage problem on the same level as "Brawl Out," anyway, and is likely just one of those situations where a match didn't go exactly as planned, causing some upset among WWE Superstars who are perfectionists with their craft.
The fact this has made the dirt sheets is certainly pretty interesting, though, and we wouldn't be surprised if a few more details begin finding their way online in the days ahead. It's also not outside the realm of possibility that WWE might try to factor this into current storylines!
