No Mercy didn't feature much in the way of surprises but expectations were high for the main event. All day, there were rumblings that WWE had something special planned but that didn't prove to be the case and things between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman played out like pretty much every other match we've seen Brock take part in recently.

Things kicked off with Strowman flooring Lesnar and the fight quickly moved to the outside where it appeared as if the Monster Among Men would destroy The Beast just like he did at SummerSlam.

However, back in the ring, Lesnar used the Kimura and a series of German Suplexes to regain control and wrapped things up quite rapidly with an F-5. That was the end of it and he walked away with the Universal Championship. We now have no idea who Lesnar's next opponent will be or what's to come for Strowman but we'll hopefully learn more on RAW
