Here's How Vince McMahon Reacted To Edge Name-Dropping Two Major AEW Stars On SMACKDOWN

During Friday night's episode of SmackDown, Seth Rollins invaded Edge's home in North Carolina. That led to the WWE Hall of Famer telling his wife, fellow WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, not to go home. He pointed out that "Daniel and David" were on the way to their house, and what you may not realise is that was a reference to AEW tag team FTR.

David is the real first name of Dax Harwood and Daniel is Cash Wheeler, and they're close friends with Edge (they live nearby and helped train him in time for his Royal Rumble return last year).

The former WWE Superstars - where they were known as Dash and Dawson as part of The Revival - even responded to the promo, so how are WWE higher-ups feeling about the namedrop? According to Ringside News, it was just Edge having fun for the fans who are smart to these things.

As a result, it caused no major dramas, and one WWE source tells them that "no one backstage cared. Not Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, John Laurinaitis or Kevin Dunn."

We don't know if Edge cleared the line with Vince, but chances are he won't get any head for this.

Well crap. He was probably hoping he would get some head out of it.
