Hulk Hogan Returns To Monday Night RAW To Honor The Late Gene Okerlund; Gets A Mixed Reaction

WWE may have thought they found a way to get disgraced legend Hulk Hogan back on TV without him being booed out of the building, but it wasn't entirely successful. Find out what went down on Raw after the jump.

So yeah, Hulk Hogan is back.

The disgraced multi-time WWE Champion returned to Raw tonight to pay tribute to the late "Mean" Gene Okerlund, and while the crowd were mostly respectful given the circumstances, there were definitely a few audible boos.

Hogan ran through his tired old spiel for a few minutes, but then WWE played a truly touching video tribute to the legendary interviewer, and when it was over there couldn't have been a dry eye in the house. A bit more "whatcha gonna do, brother" crap from The Hulkster, and the segment was done.

Some will be of the opinion that this was a great way to bring Hogan back, while others will argue that his disgusting racist remarks should have kept him away from the business for good. Whatever side you come down on, don't be surprised if we see more of Terry Bollea moving forward.
