It Looks Like RAW Superstar Dean Ambrose Could Be Out Of Action For Up To Six Months
That's the worst case scenario, but WWE has now shared a medical update on Dean Ambrose's arm injury, and if The Lunatic Fringe does indeed have a torn triceps, he could be out until after WrestleMania...
Dean Ambrose was involved in an angle with Samoa Joe and The Bar this past Monday on RAW to cover for a real injury that needed to be assessed, and WWE as now shared an update via physician Dr. Chris Amann:
An MRI has shown suspicion for a high-grade triceps tendon injury, possibly a tear, so he is undergoing surgical exploration and most likely surgical repair of the torn triceps tendon,” WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann told WWE.com. “That surgery will be happening later this evening, and we should have some further updates either later tonight or tomorrow morning as to what the findings were, what the structures that were damaged were, and also a timeline for recovery.”
Unfortunately, a full tear would require at least 6 months recovery time, which would mean The Lunatic Fringe would be out for WrestleMania.
Let's hope the injury isn't that severe, because Shield fans will be hoping to see The Hounds of Justice at full capacity on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
