SPOILER-FREE BREAKDOWN OF NEXT WEEK'S SHOW:
Just in case you want to know the lineup for next week, but you don't actually want the spoilers themselves, this is your section that will tell you what has been announced as far as this week's broadcast.
- TBD - Je'Von Evans vs. Rayo Americano
- TBD - Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez
- TBD - Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka
PREDICTIONS BEFORE THE TAPINGS:
Since I usually toss out some predictions ahead of time before each episode, and I won't be able to do that once the tapings take place, I figured I'd put them here while waiting for this information.
I can't imagine Je'Von Evans will lose to Rayo Americano. Likely, this is either some random one-off, or it leads to some more matches in the future against Bravo Americano and eventually, El Grande Americano. The latter is the only match of that bunch that Evans could theoretically lose. This should be a means to make Evans look good on the main roster after his previous losses recently.
Reigniting the feud between Bayley and Roxanne Perez feels to me more like a situation where WWE is focused on the women's tag team division and just happened to get around to this match, rather than specifically starting something deeper between the two. Perez either loses due to some miscommunication with Liv Morgan, or she beats Bayley to give herself and Morgan some momentum toward challenging for the tag titles. I'm leaning more toward Perez winning.
And since Asuka got the jump on Rhea Ripley and spit the mist in her face, Ripley wins that match. That will give herself and Iyo Sky some momentum heading into their scheduled WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match against The Kabuki Warriors announced for the first Raw of 2026 on January 5th.
With that in mind, all the information below this point will be the actual results of what went down during the tapings, so if you don't want to be spoiled, stop reading now!
