Shotzi Revealed Her Startling New Look After Shaving Head During WWE Live Event This Weekend

After Bayley managed to steal a win over Shotzi prior to Money in the Bank, she and IYO SKY later attacked the babyface backstage and proceeded to cut off a chunk of her trademark green hair.

A couple of weeks ago, Shotzi appeared on the TitanTron in a pre-recorded video package and made it clear she's now coming for Damage CTRL. Laughing maniacally, the former NXT Superstar started shaving her head, shocking fans and leaving them wondering what's next for her in WWE.

While this appears to be leading to a character change for Shotzi, the real reason the SmackDown Superstar shaved her head was later revealed.

Her sister, Shawnee, is currently battling cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of bile duct cancer. She's already undergone surgery to remove the cancer and appears to be on the road to recovery, but Shotzi shaved her head as a sign of solidarity and as a way of raising awareness about the disease.

Over the weekend, Shotzi competed at a WWE Live event and was spotted for the first time rocking her startling new appearance.

As you can see in the Tweets below, she has indeed completely shaved her head but still manages to stand out from the crowd thanks to its striking green colour. Presumably, we'll see more of her on this week's SmackDown when the show moves back to FOX.

The response to Shotzi's actions online has been overwhelmingly positive, with fans and many of her fellow WWE Superstars praising her actions. The expectation is that this is building to a match at SummerSlam, though it's currently unclear whether Bayley will be fit to compete after she reportedly injured her arm.

Here's a closer look at the new Shotzi.
