There have been rumblings about this for a while but WWE has now confirmed that John Morrison and The Miz will be bringing back "The Dirt Sheet" on next week's SmackDown. That was a web series which aired on WWE.com and WWE's version of ECW between 2008 and 2009.

That was discontinued after The Miz turned on Morrison and they ended up on different shows but it was always popular and it makes sense for these two to have their own segments where they can talk trash about their opponents. What will be interesting is seeing how WWE goes about updating it and whether it plays into the Super ShowDown match against The New Day.

After both men were absent from this week's show, it's also been revealed that we'll see Daniel Bryan and The Fiend on SmackDown next week.
