According to
Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful.com, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder (The Revival) have turned down the latest contract offer from the company. The story with the RAW Tag Team champions goes back to late last year when Dawson and Wilder voiced their frustration on social media over not being used.
That frustration boiled over back in January as the duo reportedly requested their release, which stems from anger over the way the company treats its tag team division. The former NXT Tag Team champions won the gold a short time later; however, the duo was never truly given a chance to shine and ultimately dropped the titles to Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins at WrestleMania 35.
It was around that time that it was reported that Wilder and Dawson rejected an offer that would have paid $500,000 a year for five years. Since then, The Revival have been featured prominently on television and were given the WWE Tag Team titles back, as the company clearly doesn’t want the duo to leave.
Of course, things can always change as both men still have a while left on their contracts.
