At this year's WrestleMania, The Undertaker squared off with AJ Styles in a "Boneyard Match." That was widely praised by fans and critics alike, and one of the first "cinematic" matches presented by WWE. Most agree that it would have made for a fitting retirement match for the legendary wrestler, but could he have one more Showcase of the Immortals in him?
"I’ll never, ever retire completely," he admitted in an interview with the Toronto Sun. "I may not get in the ring and wrestle anymore, but I’ll always somehow be involved I’m sure within the industry. For 30 years, I’ve been a mainstay in the ring."
"It’s hard to say right now," The Undertaker continued when it comes to the future of his in-ring career. "We haven’t finished the last episode (of the docuseries). At this point right now, today, it’s hard to really give you a definitive answer."
As for whether we'll see the Deadman at another WrestleMania, he sounds open to the idea, but confirmed that he has no interest in competing in the WWE Performance Center. "It would be tough to try to look forward to going and performing a match in an empty warehouse. You never say never, but to make it to Mania again, it’s going to take something really, really juicy."
Who do you guys think he could face at a future Show of Shows?
