The Road to the Royal Rumble is officially upon us and thus far, Daniel Bryan will get a chance to win the WWE Championship at the big four pay-per-view.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, several more big matches are rumored to take place at the annual event, as Braun Strowman will reportedly challenge Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship. This title match was expected to take place at TLC; however, the match was never made due to Strowman being sidelined with an injury.

Strowman pinned Nakamura in a six-man tag team match this past week on SmackDown, and it is expected for him to use this as a way to get a shot at the championship belt.

Also, Bayley will reportedly defend the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans. This match was also expected to take place at TLC; however, officials wanted to give the build some more time thus opted to keep the match off the card.
