WWE BAD BLOOD 2024 Results: The Rock And Goldberg Return, War Erupts In Hell In A Cell, And More

Last night's Bad Blood PLE opened with CM Punk taking on Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell. It was a brutal match which saw both men busted open, with the Scotsman reportedly needing 16 staples for a legitimate cut he suffered after being hit on the head with a toolbox.

In the closing moments of the match, McIntyre hit Punk with a low blow and emptied a bag of friendship beads on his foe. However, a botched Claymore Kick saw him land on the steel steps, giving the Best in the World a chance to wrap a steel chain around his knee to hit a match-ending GTS.

Nia Jax retained the WWE Women's Championship against Bayley thanks to an assist from Tiffany Stratton (who didn't cash in) and Damian Priest overcame the odds to defeat The Judgement Day's Finn Balor.

In the Women's World Championship match, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley went to war with Dominik Mysterio hanging above them in a Shark Cage.

Mysterio ended up hanging upside down outside of that at one point, giving Ripley the chance to deliver a well-deserved beating to the heel. However, that was cut short by a returning Raquel Rodriguez who attacked the Eradictor and earned her the win...via disqualification (thereby costing Ripley the title).

Triple H announced that WWE's world champions will go one-on-one at Crown Jewel with the victors named the Crown Jewel Champions.

It's clearly a meaningless title meant to make the Saudi Arabia show feel like a bigger deal than it is but means we'll soon see Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax vs. Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.

The segment saw WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg attempt to square up to Gunther after he insulted him, though the Austrian ended up brawling with Sami Zayn before their title match tomorrow on RAW. The Game then held up Goldberg's arm, seemingly welcoming him back to WWE.

In the main event, Rhodes and Roman Reigns battled The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu) and it looked like Solo was going to steal the win thanks to Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. However, a returning Jimmy Uso dealt with them, reuniting with his Tribal Chief and helping him beat Solo with a Spear.

Reigns and Jimmy then helped the American Nightmare but as Roman and Cody looked to continue their newfound alliance, The Rock's music hit and he stared both men down before leaving.

The Bloodline drama just got a whole lot more interesting...
