WWE Hall Of Famer Edge Believes He's Healthy Enough To Return For At Least One More Match

Edge was forced to retire years before his time due to an injury which could have left him paralysed after one bad bump but he's now revealed that he feels that he's in a position to make his in-ring return.

This past Sunday, WWE Hall of Famer Edge made headlines when he showed up on the SummerSlam Kickoff show to deliver a Spear to Elias. That was the first time we'd seen him in a physical situation in the ring since he was forced to retire and during the most recent episode of Edge and Christian’s Pod of Awesomeness, he made it clear that he wants one more match.

"To be perfectly honest, I think I could do a match tomorrow," Edge admitted. "I might be blown up but I’d be okay. It’s just from what I know with the WWE medical staff, they won’t allow. It is what it is, right?" He went on to say that a doctor did once tell him that his neck could recover within five years.

Edge also noted that he's looking to get stem cells down and while it's unlikely he could wrestle full-time, he believes one more match is possible. Whether WWE will allow him to wrestle again is hard to say but Daniel Bryan was able to come back so it's something they might consider. If not, we could see the Hall of Famer compete for another promotion out there.

Edge was forced to retire from wrestling back in 2011.
