Tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw (August 17, 2026) emanates from KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York and will air starting at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix.

Results, match winners, promo segment notes and other major developments from WWE's flagship show will be added below as Raw airs.

Preview & Predictions for WWE Raw:

On tap for tonight's episode, Chad Gable defends the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio; Dragon Lee faces El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. and Rey Fenix battles El Fiscal in first-round matches in the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender Tournament; Sol Ruca takes on Lyra Valkyria; and World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns makes an appearance amid the ongoing Bloodline situation.

Naturally, I don't anticipate Rey Mysterio winning the title from Chad Gable so quickly after Gable's final ascension. What would be the purpose? This ends in either someone else attacking, or more than likely, Gable wins and they show respect to each other after the match before both of them get attacked by people like Ethan Page and Rusev or whatever.

Sol Ruca versus Lyra Valkyria depends on if Iyo Sky is in the women's IC title hunt, or if the priority is to put it back on Sol. If it's the former, I think Lyra wins. If it's the latter, Ruca.

Nothing at all is guaranteed in the two AAA crossover matches. I think Penta ultimately wins the tournament, and I'm not sure he fights Rey Fenix in the finals as much as that would be interesting, so I'm guessing Dragon Lee and El Fiscal win, but it could really go either way for both matches.

I don't anticipate too much crazy stuff happening with Roman Reigns. In fact, I can imagine there might be some backtracking on the idea of Solo Sikoa joining The Bloodline where it almost makes last week retconned in a way.

Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw - August 17, 2026:

  • Stephanie Vaquer opened Raw by demanding that Women's World Champion Liv Morgan come to the ring and face her. Morgan instead arrived with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, and the three members of The Judgment Day eventually overwhelmed Vaquer despite Becky Lynch attempting to make the save. Lynch accidentally struck Vaquer during the chaos, Morgan drove Lynch into the ring post and Perez finished Vaquer off with Pop Rox. Later backstage, Vaquer and Lynch continued arguing over their shared pursuit of Morgan, with neither woman willing to stay out of the other's path.
  • The Usos spent the night escorting a reluctant Solo Sikoa toward his meeting with Roman Reigns. They encountered LA Knight backstage along the way, with Jey Uso preventing another confrontation. Jimmy and Jey later celebrated accomplishing what Jacob Fatu had been unable to do by bringing Solo back, while Fatu remained visibly suspicious of the entire situation.
  • Je'Von Evans defeated JD McDonagh by pinfall after connecting with the OG Cutter. Big Cass immediately attacked Evans and appeared to leave after putting him down, but Evans grabbed a microphone and challenged him to come back. Je'Von initially took the fight to Cass before Dominik Mysterio sent him into the ring post. Cass then resumed the beating, throwing Evans into the barricades and eventually dropping him with another big boot.
  • World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender's Tournament: Rey Fenix defeated El Fiscal by pinfall with the Mexican Muscle Buster, while Dragon Lee defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. with Operation: Dragon. Those victories advanced Fenix and Lee into a semifinal match against each other, with the eventual tournament winner earning a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity against Roman Reigns.
  • Lyra Valkyria explained in a pre-taped promo that she believes she is capable of matching Sol Ruca's athleticism but is smart enough not to take the same risks simply because she can. Valkyria promised to stop Ruca's momentum and begin working her way back toward the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. Sol Ruca then defeated Lyra Valkyria by pinfall with the Sol Snatcher.
  • The Vision bragged about its recent dominance during a backstage interview, with Logan Paul claiming anyone who steps up to the group will be put down while Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri gloated about Alpha Academy. Bron Breakker was far less interested in celebrating and said he would address Oba Femi directly. Breakker subsequently called Femi to the ring, where both men claimed to represent WWE's future. Paul Heyman prevented an immediate fight and revealed that Adam Pearce had approved Bron Breakker vs. Oba Femi for WWE Sunday Night's Main Event on September 6. Heyman shook hands with both Breakker and Femi afterward, which appeared to catch Breakker off guard.
  • WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Chad Gable defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall to retain the title. Mysterio survived several major attacks, including an avalanche Olympic Slam, and connected with multiple 619s before Gable blocked his top-rope splash with his knees. After another struggle over the ankle lock and a series of pinning counters, Gable reversed Mysterio into the deciding victory roll. There was no post-match attack, as Mysterio instead placed the championship around Gable's waist and embraced him in a show of respect.
  • Roman Reigns closed the show alongside Jacob Fatu as The Usos finally brought Solo Sikoa before the Tribal Chief. Reigns mocked and humiliated Solo before Fatu blasted him with a superkick and applied the Tongan Death Grip. Roman then elevated Jimmy and Jey Uso as his captains and "made men" before turning his attention back toward Solo. LA Knight interrupted and attacked The Usos, but Fatu and Reigns quickly stopped him. Roman ordered Solo to prove his loyalty by finishing Knight, only for Sikoa to turn around and hit Reigns with the Samoan Spike instead. Solo later spiked Jey Uso while Knight hit Jimmy Uso with the BFT and countered Roman's Superman Punch into another BFT. Jacob Fatu notably watched the closing stages without helping Reigns, allowing Solo Sikoa and LA Knight to leave together after laying out The Bloodline.
