Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (August 11, 2026) emanates from WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and will air starting at 8 p.m. ET on The CW Network.
Results, match winners, promo segment notes and other major developments from NXT will be added below as the episode airs.
Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:
On tap for tonight's episode, Cruz Montana faces Grayson Waller in a No. 1 Contender's Match for an NXT Championship opportunity; ZARIA defends the NXT Women's North American Championship against Wren Sinclair; Shawn Spears and Lizzy Rain battle The Culling's Niko Vance and Izzi Dame; Dion Lennox takes on Saquon Shugars; and Lexis King faces Lucien Price.
Shugars and Lennox are just spinning their wheels. This story is going nowhere and WWE even outright skips it some weeks, which shows me they don't really know where this is going and they're just killing time. That means it doesn't matter who wins this, as it isn't the end of it unless they just drop it outright and move on to something else. Shugars wins and Lennox gets more upset, or Shugars loses and it matters even less. I'll go with Shugars going over.
Lucien Price hasn't had his blow-up with Bronco Nima yet, so Lexis King should likely beat him and lead to some "Why weren't you ringside to help me fight off BirthRight?" argument between OTM. Otherwise, Price gets a victory over King to set himself up for a WWE Speed title shot, but since those are typically done through tournaments, I'll say the former happens. If Price wins, the OTM argument comes about from that same scenario happening in the future title match.
Shawn Spears and Lizzy Rain getting the win over The Culling makes sense to me to keep Rain's momentum building and to continue to let The Culling crash out over their losses.
Zaria obviously retains over Wren Sinclair, and I think we're looking at a no-contest type finish for the NXT Championship title shot in order to lead to a Triple Threat at Heatwave.
Here are your results for WWE NXT - August 11, 2026:
- Lizzy Rain was forced to make a last-minute adjustment when Shawn Spears was unavailable for their scheduled mixed tag team match. EK Prosper stepped up as his replacement, and the change paid off as Lizzy Rain and EK Prosper defeated Izzi Dame and Niko Vance by pinfall.
- Footage from last week showed the babyface locker room celebrating Tavion Heights and Myles Borne's NXT Tag Team Championship victory. Heights said the division does not receive enough recognition and promised that he and Borne intend to be fighting champions who showcase just how deep the competition really is. Romeo Moreno wasted little time volunteering himself for a title opportunity, prompting Noam Dar to remind him that the new champions should at least get a chance to enjoy their win first.
- Kali Armstrong hijacked an interview Emily Agard was conducting with EK Prosper and Lizzy Rain, taking the microphone and heading to the ring to demand a championship opportunity. Kelani Jordan soon joined her and argued that Armstrong should be behind her in line after Jordan recently pinned her. Kendal Grey then arrived alongside Wren Sinclair with a contract offering Jordan a title match, largely to put an end to her complaints. Grey said Armstrong could receive an opportunity afterward, while Jordan would be allowed to choose when her own match takes place. With Grey still not medically cleared, she proposed holding the bout at NXT Heatwave so it could happen on a major stage. Armstrong did not take the decision well, sparking a fight that unexpectedly saw her team with Jordan to overwhelm Grey and Sinclair. Later in the night, Sinclair suggested facing ZARIA in a title unification match at Heatwave, while Robert Stone booked Grey and Sinclair against Armstrong and Jordan in tag team action.
- Cruz Montana spoke with Robert Stone backstage until Keanu Carver interrupted, frustrated that two newcomers were receiving opportunities ahead of him. Carver strangely wished Montana luck before leaving, leading Montana and Stone to question his recent behavior. Carver explained that he is simply figuring out the landscape of NXT and hinted that there is much more to come from him.
- Dion Lennox defeated Saquon Shugars by pinfall after Osiris Griffin and Cutler James interfered in the match. The three continued attacking Shugars after the bell. Following a commercial break, Grayson Waller confronted Shugars while he was being examined by medical personnel and urged him to retaliate. Shugars responded by grabbing a steel chair and heading off in search of DarkState.
- Robert Stone met with Rey Mysterio in his office to discuss the AAA Cruiserweight Championship. With Rey Fenix scheduled to defend the title in two weeks, Stone decided to hold a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender's Match next week. Mysterio recommended EK Prosper and La Parka for two of the spots, leaving Stone to choose the remaining participants. Later, Romeo Moreno learned that he had also been selected but initially hesitated because of his partnership with Noam Dar. Dar encouraged him to take the opportunity and assured Moreno that pursuing singles gold would not mean abandoning their team. Tristan Angels was revealed as the fourth entrant and confidently interrupted to predict his own victory while also finding time to compliment his physique.
- NXT Women's North American Championship Match: ZARIA (c) defeated Wren Sinclair by pinfall. The closing moments were disrupted by Saquon Shugars brawling with DarkState around ringside, creating a distraction during the championship match.
- Shiloh Hill provided an update on his recovery and said he is healing ahead of schedule. He teased potentially competing while wearing The Fog's mask, offered some additional details about the poison mist and slipped in a joke referencing Naraku's marriage to Iyo Sky. Hill also suggested that his return to NXT television could be coming sooner rather than later.
- Kam Hendrix defeated Mason Rook by pinfall after taking advantage of an exposed turnbuckle to create the opening for the victory.
- The Vanity Project confronted Robert Stone in his office over Swipe Right losing the NXT Tag Team Championship. Stone laid out an opportunity for the group next week: if Jackson Drake wins his singles match, he will earn an NXT North American Championship opportunity, while Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes will receive a rematch for the tag titles. Myles Borne accepted the arrangement, even though it could force him to compete twice at Heatwave. The mood quickly changed when Stone revealed that Drake's opponent will be the returning Shiloh Hill, much to The Vanity Project's frustration.
- Lucien Price defeated Lexis King by pinfall.
- Stone was later shown on the phone telling an unidentified person that he remained "interested" and was hoping to receive a call back, teasing another potential addition or development for NXT.
- Thea Hail spoke with Jaida Parker in the locker room and made it clear that she wants a match against Nattie. Parker cautioned Hail that she might not be prepared for that challenge, but Hail admitted she has not had much of a friend lately and asked Parker to accompany her to ringside for the match next week.
- The night's scheduled NXT Championship No. 1 Contender's Match between Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller ended in a no-contest when both men were suddenly attacked. The culprit was revealed to be Zilla Fatu, who made his NXT debut by laying out both contenders and bringing the show to a chaotic conclusion.
