We’re less than two weeks away from Supercard of Honor.
Title match ramifications take place tonight as Top Flight will fight The Infantry for an opportunity at the ROH World Tag Team titles at Supercard of Honor. Darius and Dante Martin have been in somewhat of a downturn at the moment since their eliminator match against The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. However, Top Flight did get a recent win over The Infantry in an eight-man tag team match. Dante and Darius are still searching for their first title win as the young duo has yet to get the job done thus far.
But neither has The Infantry. The last time Carlie Bravo and Shawn Dean got a chance to win the ROH World Tag Team titles, they fumbled pretty hard. Overall, the duo has been a mixed bag lately as The Infantry knows how to get the job done, even if they fail to do so half of the time. Who will emerge as the next challengers for the Sons of Texas?
The crowning of the first ever ROH Women’s Pure Champion is soon coming. For the past several weeks, the women of Ring of Honor have been competing in a Pure Rules match to prepare for the upcoming tournament. Tonight, Serena Deeb will get a chance to showcase her skills in the special match-up as she’ll take on B3cca in a Pure Rules Match. Given Deeb’s technical and submission based moveset, the AEW star has the edge over her opponent, but that doesn’t mean B3cca can’t score an upset on tonight’s episode.
Wheeler Yuta is trying to get back into title contention and The Death Riders member has that opportunity by facing Alex Zayne. Zayne has been making his name known in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Game Changer Wrestling; can the ROH newcomer make a splash by beating one of the top stars of AEW?
