It seems that Lucha Undeground star Rey Fenix will not longer take part of the Championship Wrestling of Arkansas event.

The promotion has issued a press release stating that Fenix has been ignoring all attempts at communication for the past several weeks.

Here’s the official statement from the office of CWA Wrestle Raise:

It is with much regret that we must inform our wrestling fans that Lucha Underground star, Rey Fenix, who was scheduled to perform at our event, CWA Wrestle Raise V: Spa City Slam, this Saturday, May 19th in Hot Springs, Arkansas, will no longer be appearing at this event. CWA officials have been unable to contact Rey Fenix for the last 3 weeks, and he continues to ignore all attempts at communication by CWA officials.

However, CWA found a replacement under limited time constraints. Now appearing at Spa City Slam will be WWE legend D’Lo Brown. D’Lo Brown, who will now be facing rising star “.50 Caliber” Barrett Brown at Spa City Slam, is a former WWE Intercontinental champion and a 4x WWE European champion.

Also appearing at this event will be: “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Jerry “The King” Lawler, J. J. Dillon, “Superstar” Bill Dundee, “The LVR Boy” Matt Riviera, and many more!! A portion of the proceeds for this event will be donated to Special Olympics Arkansas.
