After opening their doors back in 2016, unfortunately, Defiant Wrestling – formerly known as What Culture Pro Wrestling – has officially closed down.

Defiant was one of the premier wrestling promotions on the British Independent Wrestling scene, with notable names and talents working past shows such as Cody Rhodes, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, Will Ospreay, and Ricochet.

Despite the wealth of talent that’s competed under the Defiant banner, the company has been unable to keep crowd interest due to losing big names throughout the years. Even though the promotion only had a three-year stint, it produced dozens of memorable matches that fans are still talking about today.
