Another Lucha Libre AAA show is coming up pretty soon.
The wrestling world is still in shock over the announcement of WWE acquiring AAA. The exact details of their partnership remains a mystery, but there’s no denying that more fans know about the product than they did a couple of months ago.
Last week, AAA and NXT held a World’s Collide show that gave North American fans a taste of what Lucha Libre action is. The event saw Ethan Page successfully defend his NXT North American title against Rey Fenix, Laredo Kid, and Je’Von Evans in an awesome four way match.
And for the first time ever, El Hijo del Vikingo faced off against Chad Gable in an incredible main event. But that was Vikingo’s first title defense as he just won the AAA Mega Champion from Alberto El Patron a week prior at AAA Alianzas. Patron will get the opportunity to become a three time champion as he’ll get a rematch at Triplemanía Regia inside a steel cage.
Vikingo and Patron have been in an intense rivalry for the better part of 2025. This will be the third match between the two veterans.
But that isn’t the only match confirmed for Triplemanía Regia.
There’s a four way tag team match featuring current TNA World Tag Team Champions Ryan & Nic Nemeth, along with Angel & Berto (Los Garza). The AAA World Tag Team titles will be on the line. Sansón & Forastero (the current AAA World Tag Team Champions) and Psycho Clown & Pagano are also in the match.
Triplemanía Regia is actually on Sunday, June 15th. Check out the confirmed line-up so far:

* Steel Cage match for the AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Alberto El Patrón
