Supercard of Honor is officially done.
Bandido remains the ROH World Champion thanks to his win over Konosuke Takeshita. So is Athena after beating former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa. Mina Shirakawa became the interim ROH Women’s World Television Champion. No other major titles changed hands at the big ROH show, but that doesn't mean there isn’t a sea of change going forward.
Former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal came out on the losing end against Blake Christian at SuperCard of Honor. Lethal has suffered a setback in recent weeks as he failed to earn an ROH World title shot and lost to Nick Wayne for the ROH World Television title. But today is a new day and the ROH veteran is hoping to regain some momentum by getting a victory over Michael Oku.
Diamante is back. After being gone for a couple of months, she made her presence known last week. Diamante got a statement win over Lady Frost at Supercard of Honor and is looking to get back into the ROH Women’s World title picture. With Athena’s focus currently on challenging Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship, how will Diamante get the attention of “The Fallen Goddess”?
Also, Lee Johnson and Atlantis Jr are scheduled to fight again tonight. The former is looking to avenge his previous loss from the latter, but that’s easier said than done. Johnson has been quite on the losing streak as he’s only won one singles match in the last six months. Can Lee Johnson change the course of his career by finally getting a win over Atlantis Jr?
Check out the advertised line-up for tonight’s ROH:
- Michael Oku vs. Jay Lethal
- Angelico vs. Hechicero
- Diamante vs. Maya World
- Lee Johnson vs. Atlantis Jr.
