We first heard about this show back in 2019, and following some preview images earlier this month, Starz has finally shared the first teaser trailer for upcoming wrestling drama series, Heels.

The new series stars former Arrow actor Stephen Amell as one of two brother who attempt to keep their small-town wrestling promotion afloat after the death of their father.

Created and written by Michael Waldron (Loki, Doctor Stange in the Multiverse of Madness), Heels also stars Alexander Ludwig, Alison Luff, Chris Bauer, Allen Maldonado, Mary McCormack, David James Elliott, James Harrison, Kelli Berglund, and Phil Brooks, aka former WWE Champion CM Punk.

“HEELS is a story about the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small-town pro wrestling. Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals, Jack Spade (Stephen Amell) and Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig), war over their late father’s legacy. In the ring, somebody must play the good guy (Ludwig) and somebody must play their nemesis, the heel (Amell). But in the real world, those characters can be hard to live up to — or hard to leave behind.”

Heels is set to premiere on Sunday, August 15.
