Killer Kross doesn’t like Matt Cardona too much.
On October 10th, The former NXT Champion will clash against the “Indy God” himself, Matt Cardona. To recall, this all started when Kross and his wife, Scarlett Bordeaux, made a shocking appearance during Cardona’s match against Shotzi Blackheart at GCW Homecoming.
The former WWE stars attacked Cardona, allowing Shotzi to get the win over the 40-year-old.
Now Kross and Matt don’t have much heat, so it was surprising that he came out and assaulted the former United States Champion. Kross spoke on The Wrestling Classic in a new interview and he explained why he helped Shotzi in her match a few weeks ago (Transcript courtesy of Fightful).
“He broke Shotzi’s arm. I’ve never let that go. He’s very talented. He’s very entertaining. He’s also an asshole. He thinks this is about leeching off of his success and credibility. I have my own success and my own credibility. I don’t need it from Matt, and this is purely about him. Like, people don’t even understand- he got like almost a dozen people to show up and try to attack Shotzi in his match and broke her arm like a month before. So, you know, it’s time for you to get your ass kicked now. That’s what’s going to happen.”
Will Kross kick Indy's God ass? Only time will tell.
But that wasn’t the only thing Kross talked about. The former WWE star talked about his future and was asked whether him and Scarlett were a packaged deal.
“Not necessarily. Her and I, as long as the deal is fair and with respect and can be discussed with logic and rational communication, we’re open to working in and out of whatever is being offered. But like, if you come to me and you offer me something and you tell me that we’re going to exclude all of this information and you were to say to me that the revenue I’m generating for the company is not relevant to the conversation, well, some of my friends are dead or have broken their necks doing this and I don’t want to be laid up somewhere in a hospital bed one day thinking about terms that I accepted when you told me that and I didn’t feel comfortable with it. So like, her and I are, you know, I guess just the direct answer would be not necessarily, no.”
It would be surprising if Kross isn’t picked up by a major promotion by the end of the year. Then again, he and Scarlett may simply opt to work in the indie scene.
