In the midst of a huge WrestleMania week was Major League Wrestling’s Battle Riot, which is a 40-man battle royal that has no disqualifications, as eliminations occur by either pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope.

Just like the first Battle Riot last year – which current MLW World Heavyweight Champion Tom Lawlor won – the match was pure insanity with the CONTRA Unit attempting to set several men on fire, along with surprises of The Blue Meanie and LAX entering into the gauntlet.

In the end, LA Park won the match-up by eliminating Sami Callihan last, and now the MLW star gets a world title shot whenever he chooses. There's no telling on when LA Park will cash in on his title opportunity. Tom Lawlor was succesful in retaining the world title against Jimmy Havoc that night in a brutal bout between the two indie stars. Are we in for a future bout between Lawlor and LA Park?
