Los Garza are coming back for the AAA World Tag Team titles.
Angel and Berto were on cloud nine when they won the AAA World Tag Team titles at AAA TripleMania Regia 2025 in a wild four way match involving Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero & Sanson), Pagano & Psycho Clown and The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth).
The WWE duo managed to keep those tag team belts for 62 days until Pagano and Psycho Clown won them back in a Street Fight at AAA TripleMania XXXIII.
Now, these two have a chance to win them back at an upcoming AAA Lucha Libre tapings. But they aren’t the only ones going after those belts. Octagón Jr. and Laredo Kid have a chance at winning the titles for the first time as the match will be a three way bout for the prestigious titles.
Los Garza originally won the belts in a four way match, so this could actually be an advantage for them. However, Psycho Clown and Pagano will do anything to keep those AAA World Tag Team titles. The tag champs are an extremely dangerous duo and a match with no disqualification will surely benefit them.
Octagón Jr. and Laredo Kid have never won the AAA World Tag Team titles, but these two are no strangers to holding tag belts as they have previously won the AAA World Trios titles. Can they band together and become the next AAA World Tag Team Champions? We’ll find out on September 7th!
The announcement of the AAA World Tag Team title match comes after it was confirmed that Mr. Iguana & La Hiedra will defend the AAA Mixed Tag Team titles against Lola Vice and Lince Dorado at the same tapings in Mexico next week.
