Lou Nixon Claims That He Lost His Spot On The BLOODSPORT Card

Bloodsport XIII is shaping up to be one of the best shows of WrestleMania week; however, one independent talent has just confirmed that he lost his spot on the card.

This year’s Bloodsport has a great mix of talent this year.

Bloodsport XIII has six active WWE wrestlers competing on the card: Shayna Baszler, Tavion Heights, Karrion Kross, Natalya Neidhart, Charlie Demspey, and Pete Dunne. This is parallel to the Vince era where we would never see WWE stars working an indie event.

It’s cool that Triple H and WWE are spreading the love to the wrestling community, but unfortunately for one talent, he was bumped from Bloodsport XIII because there’s simply too many matches on the Las Vegas card.

Lou Nixon just confirmed that he won’t be on the upcoming Bloodsport show because of that very reason.

"Well just been told the worst news imaginable for me, despite being told l'd be apart of the show months ago, I have lost my spot on Bloodsport next week in Vegas due to too many matches being booked. I understand it's business and I can't be angry at that but Bloodsport just like last year was the whole reason I was going to Maina Week this year and to be a regular part of that show is probably my biggest goal in wrestling.

Now that has been taken away from me I don't know where that leaves me for Vegas next week, or in pro wrestling as a whole for that matter. I can physically get over the time and money I will lose that l've put into this but emotionally I feel like my heart has been ripped out and I really dunno what's next now..."

However, fans would bombard Josh Barnett with messages about Nixon’s removal from the card and he contacted Nixon himself and straightened out the situation with the England native. Though he still won’t be on the upcoming Bloodsport card, Barnett was very nice enough to still pay for Nixon’s booking.

The 27-year-old has previously competed at the Bloodsport event twice. Nixon made his debut at Bloodsport X and lost to Erik Hammer by referee’s decision. However, when he came back to Bloodsport XII, he managed to beat Calvin Tankman via TKO. There’s no word on whether he’ll have a spot on the next Bloodsport card, though it was nice of Josh Barnett to compensate Nixon for the misunderstanding.
