On April 27th, Marty Scurll will step up to challenge two-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis at the Crockett Cup.

Aldis has dominated the heavyweight division in NWA since first winning the title from Tim Storm back in December 2017. The former Impact Wrestling star successfully retained his championship against many challengers around the world during his time as champion until he dropped the belt back at ALL IN against Cody.

Aldis would recapture the title a short time later in a two out of three falls bout at the 70th Anniversary show and has since defended it against the likes of James Storm and Jake Hager.

This will be the first encounter between "The Villain" and Aldis. The co-promoted event will be held in the Cabarrus Arena in Concord, North Carolina in association with the NWA and Ring of Honor.
