Killer Kross vs. Matt Cardona has been made official.
The former NXT Champion made his shocking appearance during Cardona’s bloody and violent match against Shotzi Blackheart at GCW’s Homecoming this past week. To recall, two masked wrestlers came to the ring to attack Blackheart, but Scarlett hit a low blow on Cardona and the two revealed themselves seconds later.
Kross would finish the job and Blackheart got the pin over Cardona. Notably, the 40-year-old got on and criticized the “We Want Kross” movement following his loss to Shotzi Blackheart.
And Kross soundly responded.
Cardona had a few more choice words for the former WWE star.
Now Cardona gets his chance at revenge on October 10th as these two will collide in Kross’ House of Glory debut. This will be the first time that Cardona and Kross meet in the squared circle. These two were in the WWE together, but Kross was in NXT and he made his debut a month after Cardona was released from the main roster.
There was a brief period where Cardona and Kross were on the indie scene in 2022, but the match just never came to fruition. Kross followed a more direct path than Matt and he was eventually re-signed by WWE. It should be an interesting match. Cardona is used to doing these garbage style matches, but that may not be the case for Kross here. For the time being, the match seems to be a regular bout, though that can change in the coming weeks. It should be a very interesting mix of styles.
