Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal is making his transition to professional wrestling.

The former StrikeForce Light Heavyweight Champion is coming off his retirement fight against Andrew Kapel at Bellator 223 and is set to debut in MLW during the Blood & Thunder tapings in Orlando, Florida.

This isn’t King Mo’s first time in wrestling, as he’s had two stints with TNA/Impact Wrestling; The 38-year-old signed with the company back in 2012; however, Lawal never wrestled for the promotion and simply had a guest referee role at that time.

He returned to TNA/Impact Wrestling in 2017, but only in the corner of Bobby Lashley for his World Heavyweight Championship match at Slammiversary. At the moment, Lawal is not scheduled for a match; however, we should get a glimpse of Mo’s first opponent at Blood & Thunder.
