NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING Releases A Video Documenting The IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match

As NJPW's biggest event of the year draws near, to hype up the IWGP Heavyweight title match between Kenny Omega and Hiroshi Tanahashi, the promotion has released a video chronicling both competitors.

We’re less than two weeks away from Wrestle Kingdom 13 at the Tokyo Dome.

The build has been a crazy ride for the already stacked card, with matches such as Chris Jericho vs. Tetsuya Naito, Jay White vs. Kazuchika Okada, and Kota Ibushi vs. Will Ospreay heavily anticipated amongst fans. However, no other match on the card has quite as much anticipation as the main event, which will see Kenny Omega defend his IWGP Heavyweight championship against the G1 Climax winner, Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Tanahashi has stated in the past that Omega doesn't represent the New Japan Pro Wrestling style very well, with Omega shooting back at the G1 Climax winner by claiming that he’s out of touch.

To hype up the main event even further, New Japan Pro Wrestling posted a video on their YouTube channel chronicling both men’s journey’s leading up to Wrestle Kingdom 13 on January 4th:
