In the opening contest of Full Gear, Santana & Ortiz faced off against The Young Bucks.

While slower than expected, this was a great and forth bout that showcased why both teams are some of the best duos in the world. At one point, The Bucks were set to end the match-up with their Meltzer Driver finisher; however, Nick’s injured leg prevented him from being able to connect with the move.

Shortly after, Nick had a fiery comeback with multiple kicks against both Santana & Ortiz, but was eventually taken down with The Street Sweeper (Powerbomb and Blockbuster combo). Once Proud & Powerful got the three count, Santana, Ortiz, and Sammy Guevara looked to continue the beat down on The Young Bucks; however, the Rock N’ Roll Express came in and helped clean house of all three men.
