People aren’t letting Quinton “Rampage” Jackson off easy.
The whole Raja Jackson incident is mainstream at this point and people are also unhappy with his father, Quinton Jackson. Now there’s been a couple of details that have come to light since the incident and it does not make Rampage look good.
Since the incident, the former UFC fighter has revealed that people have been sending him death threats and calling him a “bad father”.
“All I can say is a lot of racist people giving me death threats and stuff like that,” Jackson said to TMZ. “Like I’m a puppet master. Calling me a bad father. It’s uncalled for.”
Now Rampage has been the only one from that camp that has apologized for what Raja did. Whether it was sincere or not is something people have been questioning. One of the reasons that Rampage has been getting so much heat is due to him teasing his son over the harmless beer can incident. Rampage is clearly joking here, but Raja is taking it extremely seriously.
But that isn’t the only video as there’s plenty of clips showing the dysfunction between Rampage and Raja. Obviously, it would be unfair to make any sort of judgment about the way Rampage treats his son since we don’t know the full story behind the scenes. However, it does appear that Rampage mocking him for the incident is one of the triggers that set him off. That’s just speculation on my end.
At the end of the day, Raja is a grown adult so this is his responsibility. Unfortunately for Rampage, he’s dragged into this mess and he doesn’t particularly look great based on all of the clips that have resurfaced. But in no way shape or form should he be getting death threats or anything of that nature. He at least apologized for his son’s behavior. And he genuinely seems sorry for what happened to Stu.
Like Rampage states, we'll just have to let justice play out.
