A new title match has been confirmed.

Shoko Nakajima will return at MLW’s Fightland special to defend the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship for the third time in her career. Her opponent is Yuki Kamifuku, an MLW newcomer who found success in her debut match at Summer of the Beasts.

Yuki has been wrestling for nearly a decade; the 32-year-old got her start in Tokyo Joshi-Pro Wrestling and expanded her craft thanks to her time in DDT Pro Wrestling, Singapore Pro Wrestling, Dey Wrestling, and Game Changer Wrestling. Though Yuki has yet to win a belt in MLW, she’s won multiple times on the indie circuit. Yuki is a former DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion, International Princess Champion, VPW Champion, and SPW Queen of Asia Champion. Yuki has all the tools to beat Shoko on September 13th.

However, that doesn’t mean it will be easy.

Shoko has experience on her side; wrestling for more than a decade in both International and North American territories. Shoko has notably competed in Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, CMLL, and AEW. Nakajima instantly made her mark when she first fought at Battle Riot VII by beating Delmi Exo for the prestigious MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship on her very first try. She remains undefeated in MLW and has successfully defended her belt twice so far.

Shoko Nakajima vs. Yuki Kamifuku joins a stacked MLW card that also features  Matt Riddle defending his MLW World Heavyweight title against Donovan Dijak. This is following their last match where it was plagued with a disqualification due to Mads Krule Krügger attempting to interfere with a cash-in.  Also, a violent Texas Death Match is expected between Alex Hammerstone and Matthew Justice. Fightland is shaping up to be an excellent show.
