Taiji Ishimori Defeats KUSHIDA To Win The IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship At WRESTLE KINGDOM 13

The 'Bone Soldier' was able to capture his first IWGP Junior Heavyweight title at Wrestle Kingdom 13 by defeating multi-time champ, KUSHIDA. Check out highlights of the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight championship match.

For the first time in his New Japan Pro-Wrestling career, Taiji Ishimori won a singles title at Wrestle Kingdom 13.

His newly crowned title came at the expense of KUSHIDA, who won the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship at King of Pro-Wrestling in a four-man tournament.

Ishimori was able to hit the Bloody Cross and score the clean pin in another decent, but relatively short back-and-forth encounter. Ishmori is also the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team champion with Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. Check out some highlights from IWGP Jr. Heavyweight championship match:
