Ultimo Guerrero, Bandido, And Lluvia Have Been Pulled From CMLL's 87TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW Due To COVID-19

The coronavirus continues to strike in the world of sports.

This Friday, CMLL was set to have their 87th Anniversary pay-per-view that featured “night of champions” such as Ultimo Guerrero, Euforia & Gran Guerrero defending the CMLL World Trios Titles against El Terrible, Templario & Hechicero and La Metalica vs. Lluvia for the Mexico National Women's Title. The NWA Welterweight Title match-up between Volador Jr. and Bandido was also expected to be on the card.

Unfortunately, all three championship matches have been scrapped due to Ultimo Guerrero, Bandido, and Lluvia testing positive for the coronavirus. Instead, Titan vs. Soberano Jr. for the CMLL World Welterweight Title will replace the trios match. Reyna Isis will step in as the new challenger for the prestigious Mexico National Women’s Championship. Volador Jr. will remain on the card, though his opponent has yet to be confirmed.

Check out the updated line-up for CMLL’s pay-per-view tomorrow:

CMLL World Micro-Estrellas Title: Chamuel (c) vs. Microman

Mexico National Women's Title: La Metalica (c) vs. Reyna Isis

Mexico National Trios Titles: Sanson, Cuatrero & Forastero (c) vs. Virus, Raziel & Cancerbero

NWA Welterweight Title: Volador Jr. (c) vs. TBA

CMLL Women’s World Title: Marcela (c) vs. Dalys

CMLL World Welterweight Championship: Titan (c) vs. Soberano Jr.

CMLL World Tag Team Titles: Carístico & Místico (c) vs. Rey Cometa & Espiritu Negro
