Combat Zone Wrestling was founded in 1999 by John Zandig, which showcased a brand of hardcore wrestling that was dubbed ultraviolence. The brand fills the void for hardcore wrestling fans of ECW as their matches contain violence rarely seen in other wrestling promotions. The brand has spawn the likes of Sami Callihan, WWE's Dean Amborse, to current Impact Wrestlers, X Cup Winner Dezmond Xavier, and Impact Tag Team Champion Dave Christ.
Its been announced recently that Combat Zone Wrestling will be streaming matches in China via ShuaiJiao Wang! No other American wrestling promotion other than the wwe has been able to enter into the China video market under ShuaiJiao Wang. New matches will be posted weekly on their service which will be translated into Mandarin by the ShuaiJiao Wang team themselves for the respective Chinese audience. This aims to stop rampant piracy of CZW in China on various platforms, making ShuaiJiao the exclusive, official distrbutor of CZW in China.
