Timur Valiev will finally get a chance to make his UFC debut as the newcomer will face Mark Striegl at the UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. Munhoz show. Valiev was originally set to fight on August 1; however, the bantamweight was pulled from the event for undisclosed reasons.
Valiev is coming in with an impressive six-fight winning streak that he’s gotten during his time in Professional Fighters League, World Series of Fighting, Gorilla Fighting Championships, and Fight Nights Global. While Valiev does have two blemishes on his record, the bantamweight has managed to win 16 fights, with seven bouts ending by TKO or submission. His professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 2 losses.
Mark Striegl is entering with a bit more experience on his side as the bantamweight has been fighting professionally for the past 10 years. Striegl has racked up wins during his time in Universal Reality Combat Championship, ONE Championship, Pacific Xtreme Combat, and Legend Fighting Championship. Striegl’s professional record currently stands at 18 wins and 2 losses.
