CM Punk May Have Lost His Second UFC Fight But He Still Scored A Solid Pay Day

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk was soundly defeated in his second UFC fight and while that was obviously bad news for the self-proclaimed Best in the World, he still made a killing by competing in the octagon.

Former WWE Champion CM Punk took on Mike Jackson in a welterweight bout at UFC 225 on Saturday in his hometown of Chicago and was soundly defeated after three rounds. Now, it's become clear that his UFC career is over (Dana White has said he won't be given another chance to fight) and while it's possible he could try competing elsewhere, it may be better for him to return to wrestling.

Then again, Punk has said that he'll never go back to the squared circle so what comes next for him remains to be seen. However, despite that big loss on Sunday, Punk's week wasn't too bad.

After all, he emerged victorious in that legal battle against WWE doctor Chris Amann and it's now been revealed that his estimated payout for fighting at UFC 225 was $503,500! That's not a bad haul for a three-round fight and is probably up there with what he made over the course of a year with WWE!
