Back in April, Conor McGregor, Cian Cowley, and several others darted into the Barclays Center following a media event. They ambushed a van transporting some UFC fighters, in hopes of getting their hands on Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The results left several fighters injured, forcing them to miss UFC 223.

The former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion appeared in the Brooklyn Criminal Court in New York City on Thursday to face his charges from the incident. McGregor, along with teammate Cowley, stated to the judge that their legal team needs more time. A new hearing was scheduled for July 26.

In a statement he gave outside the courthouse, McGregor said "I regret my actions. I understand the seriousness of this matter and I'm hopeful it gets resolved soon."
