Sergio Pettis is officially off the UFC Minneapolis show; however, the reasoning behind his withdrawal is being kept hidden. The Wisconsin native hasn’t fought since December 2018 against Rob Font, a bout that he lost via unanimous decision. Pettis was scheduled to face Richardo Ramos.

MMA Fighting’s sources confirmed the news, as his withdrawal has yet to be officially announced. There’s no word of whether UFC officials are looking for a replacement for Ramos; however, with the fight night event scheduled to take place next week, the bout may just be scrapped from the event.

UFC Minneapolis takes place at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the main card will air live on ESPN. In the heavyweight main event, Junior dos Santos faces Francis Ngannou. See the updated card below:
