Nothing like a quick day at work, right? Nine seconds is all it took for UFC heavyweight prospect Jair Rozenstruik to finish Allen Crowder at UFC Greenville on Saturday. The two met in a preliminary match earlier in the day, and fans were treated to an incredible knockout.
Shortly after touching gloves, Rozenstruik popped Crowder with a solid left jab to the jaw that sent him crumbling to the canvas. Two powerful punches later, it was all over. Check out the knockout below.
Rozenstruik's nine-second knockout is the second-fastest knockout in UFC heavyweight history. The current record belongs to Don Frye who knocked out Thomas Ramirez in just eight seconds at UFC 8 all the way back in 1996. It is, however, Rozenstruik's personal best, topping his 10 second knockout that earned him a contract with the UFC. In his promotional debut, he knocked out Junior Albini in just 54 seconds.
With the win, Rozenstruik is now 8-0 professionally and 2-0 in the UFC. With all but one of his wins coming by way of (T)KO, the undefeated Rozenstruik is looking like a serious heavyweight contender.
