Two former NXT Cruiserweight Champions will get an opportunity to regain what was once theirs as Lio Rush will take on Angel Garza in a #1 contender’s match tonight.

Back in December 2019, Garza defeated Rush to win his first title within the promotion; however, Garza’s title reign didn’t last long as Jordan Devlin shocked many within the wrestling community by winning the Fatal 4-Way match that involved Travis Banks, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, and of course, Garza.

Rush and the cocky 27-year-old are no strangers to fighting inside the ring and have provided several unforgettable matches on the black and yellow brand. Who will walk out victorious in the latest chapter of their rivalry? We’ll find out tonight on the final episode before NXT TakeOver: Portland.

Check out NXT on USA Network this Wednesday night at 8/7 C!
