Will a new NXT North American Champion be crowned?
Ridge Holland failed to beat Tony D’Angelo for the prestigious title on January 21st, but that only made the challenger more dangerous. Holland has been causing Havoc to D’Angelo and his crime family, and the North American Champion looks to put an end to that in a steel cage match.
D’Angelo has successfully held the title for 126 days. He defended it against former NXT Champion Ethan Page. He owns two victories over current NXT Champion Oba Femi. Can D’Angelo continue his momentum by retaining his title for the fifth time? Or will Ridge Holland finally achieve his goal of becoming a singles champion?
Last week, the former Fandango made a surprise appearance and tore down the reigning Heritage Cup holder Lexis King. Tonight, he’ll get the opportunity to put his money where his mouth is as JDC (the former Fandango) challenges King for the Heritage Cup. Despite being in the WWE for over a decade, Fandango had never held a singles title in his career. However, the TNA star has been doing pretty well since his release in 2021.
JDC has won several world titles including the ICW Heavyweight and SWF Heavyweight Championship. With his new found experience as a singles competitor, can JDC put the arrogant second-generation star in his place and become the next Heritage Cup holder?
Bayley is focused on becoming the NXT Women’s Champion for the second time in her career. However, Cora Jade ambushed her and Giulia during last week’s summit for their Vengeance Day Triple Threat match. Cora Jade has been making quite the name for herself in the past several weeks and is looking to become the next NXT Women’s Champion as well. Beating a multi-time women’s champion will surely do wonders for her career. Can Bayley successfully fend off Jade before her scheduled title match?
