Halloween Havoc is next week.
Trick Williams is ready to challenge Ricky Saints for the NXT Championship. Though Trick is coming off a huge loss against Mike Santana at Bound For Glory, the NXT star has managed to win two world championships in a span of 24 months. This match is a result of Trick abandoning Saints during their Survivor Series match several weeks ago. While Ricky has revenge on his mind, Trick surely wants to regain the belt that he lost at New Year’s Evil. But tonight, the two men will have a simple contract signing. Will this end is a civil manner? Or will this end in chaos?
For the second time in WWE/NXT history, the X-Division Championship will be defended on the developmental brand. Leon Slater is the hot prospect that’s been tearing it up on Thursday nights. Slater has successfully defended the belt five times, but he’s battling in a different territory. Stacks may have never been a champion, but the NXT star does own a couple of victories over several former Champions. Stacks is coming in with a slight disadvantage since he’s never really fought a guy like Slater, but the NXT star has pulled off surprises in the past. Can he pull off another huge one tonight?
Also, the Speed Tournament will determine the next challenger for El Grande Americano's Speed title. Four men will compete for this special opportunity: Sean Legacy, Axiom, Jasper Troy, and Zachary Wentz; who will emerge victorious between these four men?
