After nearly 10 ten years in the professional wrestling business, Mia Yim is finally in the WWE. The former Knockouts champion was in the 2017 Mae Young Classic, but was eliminated in the second round of the tournament.

Yim wasn’t given much of a chance to stand out but that changed for the talented wrestler in this year’s tournament, which showcased why she deserved to be in the company.

Last night, Toni Storm defeated Mia Yim in a match that was heavily raved about. A short time later, Yim officially signed her WWE contract after recently reporting to the WWE Performance Center.

WWE released a video of Triple H informing Yim of the big news after fans chanted for her to be signed at the MYC tapings. Triple H congratulates Yim and welcomes her to the crew. The video was filmed outside of Full Sail University.

Yim already made her NXT TV in-ring debut at last night’s tapings. She wrestled Aliyah in a match for the October 24 episode and then she wrestled Bianca Belair in a match that should air on November 7.
