Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai went to war at NXT TakeOver: Portland in a surprisingly violent street fight, and while the Welsh Wonder had things well in hand at the end, the former Captain of Team Kick was ultimately able to pull out a victory thanks to some help from a debuting Superstar.

Both women traded very stiff shots all throughout the match, and when weapons were introduced, Nox hit a German Suplex on Kai onto a trashcan which really should have kept her down. In the end, Tegan hit the Shiniest Wizard and could have pinned her former friend, but she allowed her emotions to get the better of her and went to get a table to do more damage.

As she climbed the top rope, Raquel González (who wrestled in the 2017 Mae Young Classic as Reina Gonzalez) ran out and threw Nox onto the table - which didn't break. This was a very nasty-looking spot, and Lady Kane was lucky to walk away without being seriously hurt.

Dakota then pinned Nox, with Gonzalez raising her hand. It looks like the start of a new alliance in NXT.
