Drew McIntyre made a triumphant return to a WWE ring tonight when he made his NXT debut tonight during TV tapings as Full Sail University.

The former WWE Intercontinental and TNA World Heavyweight Champion pinned a game Oney Lorcan after hitting his Claymore Kick finisher (it remains to be seen if he'll also use his Future Shock DDT), immediately establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in NXT.

Now that Shinsuke Nakamura has graduated to Smackdown Live, the brand finds itself a little light on legitimate challengers for Bobby Roode's title, so don't be surprised if the "Sinister Scotsman" find himself in that position fairly soon.
