Ethan Page Will Defend The North American Title On Tonight's NXT Episode

The challenge for a new number one contender begins.

Jacy Jayne is your new NXT Women’s and Knockouts Champion. The Fatal Influence leader had no qualms bragging about her huge win over Masha Slamovich at Slammiversary. However, two new challengers emerged as Jayne was gloating - Jaida Parker and Lash Legend.

Jaida Parker has been on the cusp of stardom in the past year or two. Parker came seconds away from beating Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s Championship on two separate occasions. Parker has also gotten big wins over former NXT North American Champion Kelani Jordan and Michin. The soccer-turned-wrestler star WILL be a champion someday; can she get through Jazmyn Nyx to get a step closer to her goal?

Lash Legend is in the same boat as Parker as she’s been steadily improving with every match she’s had. Now Lash took Lyra Valkyria to the limit when she challenged her for the women’s title in 2024, but the NXT star’s focus has been mainly on the tag team scene every since then. But after the break up of Meta-Four, Lash Legend has made it her mission to win a singles title. Can she beat Fallon Henley to get closer to her dreams?

In a big title match, Ethan Page will defend the NXT North American Championship against a veteran who has won the Intercontinental title on multiple occasions - Santino Marella. Page has successfully defended that belt four times and the arrogant title holder is coming in thinking that it will be a cake walk against Santino. But Santino has an edge over Page because of his experience as he’s been wrestling for over two decades.

In addition to the I.C. title, Santino has won the United Championship and held that belt for 167 days. Will Santino add the NXT North American title to his resume? Or will Ethan Page prove that Santino Marella is yesterday’s news?
